To supply Neon Collective, designers must fully meet our philosophy of responsible luxury: no animal-derived materials, no sweat-shop production and only the very highest in quality and design. Many brands have gone one step further by utilising techniques such as recycling and carbon offsetting. Everything we sell is suitable for a vegetarian, vegan and vogue lifestyle.

Clare Childs founded Neon Collective in 2007. A life-long vegetarian, and committed fashionista, Clare’s personal searches for cutting-edge vegan accessories proved so exhaustive that she wanted to share her discoveries with others:
“Like a lot of modern women, I wanted the very latest in style, but wasn’t prepared to compromise on my principles of fair fashion. I could never get the range I desired in one place, so I spent years tracking down individual designers who could supply me with gorgeous vegan shoes and bags! Friends were always asking where I got my accessories from, so it seemed a logical step to bring them all into one collection. The designers loved the idea, hence the creation of Neon Collective: the first time breath-taking vegan fashion can be found in one place.”
Clare has formerly worked for 15 years as a freelance music video and television editor. Her credits include fashion show Mary Queen of Shops, UK Music Hall of Fame, Top Of The Pops, The X Factor, Faking It, Celebrity Fame Academy, Celebrity Big Brother, Secret Millionaire and many other award-winning programmes.
Originally from Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, Clare has established Neon Collective in her new home of Brighton, on the south-coast of England: “I fell in love with Brighton immediately. It’s such a vibrant city bursting with innovation and creativity. There is a very strong emphasis on eco-ethics here, it’s on the cutting edge of fashion, and I’m right in the middle of the country’s best vegan restaurants. Yum yum.”
