Thanks to the unique coconut fibre ‘foot mattress’ the YEW boot is exceptionally comfortable. It allows air to circulate around your feet providing good insulation for both hot and cold climates. Glues are avoided by stitching the shoes together. Made in a family run factory in Portugal which is considered one of the most ethical and clean factories in the world with wages 35% above the minimum wage.

Hemp | The hemp is pure 100% unbleached, low impact dyes free from heavy metals. Hemp is naturally hypoallergenic, mould resistant and stops bacteria growth.

Cork | The cork is from the bark of the Cork Oak tree (Quecus Suber) which grows locally in Portugal where the shoes are made. The harvesting of the cork does not harm the tree and a new layer of cork re-grows, making it a renewable resource.

Latex | The latex is pure vegetable rubber made from the sap of the Lectae hevea tree.
